Bobbies Rugby Club’s U10 team recently celebrated their first win of the season, defeating Boksburg 24-17. The man of the match, Wian Pienaar, scored three of the team’s four tries, leading Bobbies to victory.

“This season has been challenging and a learning journey for these boys, who have only recently started playing in club leagues. We look forward to what the next season will bring for this promising team,” said team manager Isabella Greyvenstein.

She added that the team has been showing steady progress with each game.

“The boys showed improvement in retaining possession and managing the ruck, with better communication, spacing, and line speed. They are still working on game plans and techniques,” she explained.

Isabella also revealed that the club will be holding off-season training, which aspiring players are welcome to join.
