The Eastern Gauteng Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted their much-anticipated annual fundraising golf day on October 17 at the Pollak Park Golf Club, where members swapped business suits for golf clubs.
Various business representatives from industries across Springs joined in on the fun, raising money by buying four balls and competing against each other.
The chamber’s general manager, Barbara-Ann Day, said, “We are fortunate that we have committed and helpful industrialists who support us every year.”
Although the weather was gloomy in the morning, the sky cleared, allowing the golfers to enjoy socialising.
“It is a great atmosphere and an opportunity for team building and networking. We are thankful to everyone who made this day a success,” Day added.
