Struisbult aftercare uplifted by generous donation

Three community members joined hands to support Struisbult Aftercare with a generous donation of stationery and refreshments.

Three women combined forces to give a generous donation to Struisbult Aftercare on February 5.

Last December, the Springs Advertiser reported on a retired teacher, Sundra Ngwenya (62), who turned her garage into an aftercare centre.

Three women, Sonja Hayston, Cynthia Smallman and Wendy Charles gathered their resources to donate stationery, including reading books and A4 paper, as well as juice for the learners.

Ngwenya expressed her gratitude to the women for their kind gesture.

“We acknowledge and appreciate what you have done for the children,” she said.
