Ekurhuleni runners gear up for Comrades

From qualifiers to close finishes, the City of Ekuhuleni Athletics Club runners showed resilience and spirit at the recent Johnson Crane Marathon.

Runners from the City of Ekurhuleni Athletics Club made a striking impression at the Johnson Crane Marathon in Benoni, painting the streets blue and white.

The 43rd Johnson Crane Marathon took place on January 25. According to race organisers, the marathon attracted a sold-out crowd of over 13 500 runners.

From personal bests to near-misses, the Ekurhuleni club runners tackled the course with determination, keeping their sights on upcoming challenges, including the Comrades Marathon.
