Residents and staff at the Epilepsy SA centre came together for a heartfelt Candlelight Celebration and Valentine’s Day, reflecting on lives lost while sharing moments of love and connection.

Residents and staff of The Epilepsy SA Centre in Geduld observed a candlelight celebration and Valentine’s Day on February 13.

According to the centre’s public relations officer, Koena Mamabolo, both occasions are filled with reflection, connection, and heartfelt celebration.

“As candles shine softly, we reflect on their lives, their strength, and the light they brought into the world. It is a moment of unity, remembrance, and continued commitment to awareness and support for those affected by epilepsy,” said Mamabolo.

Mamabolo also said that Valentine’s Day is celebrated with warmth and joy as residents and day clients exchange gifts, cards, and heartfelt messages.

The day is filled with smiles, laughter, and meaningful gestures that highlight friendship, kindness, and appreciation for one another.
