Easter Egg Drive brings smiles to Chosen Children’s Home in Springs

Miss Springs 2025, Ashley Joubert, held an Easter egg drive to spread joy among children at Chosen Children’s Home on April 6.

With the help of the Springs community members who donated, Ashley was able to donate chocolate Easter eggs, marshmallow eggs, as well as other sweets and treats.

“Seeing their smiles, their laughter and the pure joy in such simple moments reminded me of something I think we all forget sometimes, which is that purpose isn’t about what we have, it’s about what we give,” Ashley said.

She adds that giving to children gives her purpose.

“Those children made me realise that I do have a purpose in this life, which is to show up, to make a difference and to spread love wherever I can,” she said.
