• June 7
Springs Yuvak Mandal in association with Springs Hindu Seva Samaj and Consulate General of India Johannesburg invites the community to a yoga day and consular camp at 65 Plumbago Road, Bakerton at 10:00. • June 19
Olympia Park School is hosting their annual golf day fundraiser at the Springs Country Club, corner Parks and Nigel roads in Selection Park with registration starting at 09:00. For more information or to book, contact Magda Minnaar on 083 773 8374 or Anel Venter on 072 128 4394.

• July 9
Moped Madness is hosting a golf day fundraiser for Jabes Care Centre at State Mines Country Club. Four-ball entries and hole sponsorships are available. To book, contact Zenobia Duvenage on 064 648 4330.

• August 7
Former learners of Springs Boys High School are invited to attend the school’s Old Boys’ Assembly. This long-standing school tradition gives former learners the opportunity to reconnect with fellow alumni, staff and the school community. Those interested in attending can RSVP by emailing alumni@sbhs.co.za.

• Meat World Springs hosts a food market every Saturday from 06:30 to 14:00 and calls on all vendors to apply to participate. Send your name, ID number and the name and a photograph of the food product you wish to sell for consideration to marketing@meatworld.co.za or call 011 815 1494.

• The Springs Farmers’ Market runs every Saturday. Buy fresh, affordable produce, arts and crafts, delicious food and milk. The venue is Den Akker at President’s Park. It runs from 08:00 to 13:00.
