EMPD Eastern Region Task Team officers recovered two reported stolen side tipper trailers in the Springs area on the afternoon of April 28.

According to the EMPD, the officers received information about the trailers in the area.

Officers followed up on the information and found two tipper trailers abandoned on Dahlia Road in the Welgedacht area.

“The two trailers were checked and came out positive to be stolen with a Brits case number,” said the metro police.

EMPD shared that all necessary stakeholders had been notified and that the trailers had been taken to the Aeroton pound for safekeeping.
