Michael finished the season with 380 runs from nine innings. His father, Jan, shared how proud he was of his son’s achievement.

“I’m unbelievably proud and close to tears. I didn’t expect it. I know he played well, but it wasn’t as well as the last two years; we missed a couple of games.

“He remained consistent, and that’s the most important thing,” he said.

Michael shared his excitement. “I’m very excited. The season was tough, and finding consistency was a challenge, but I stayed focused on my goals,” he said proudly.
