Turning Point Ministries celebrates ten years of worship and serving Springs
The church invites the Springs community to celebrate years of serving and worship through various celebrations.
Turning Point Ministries (TPM) located in Nuffield is celebrating 10 years of worship, prayer, community outreach, and service to Springs.
The church, founded in 2016, is celebrating its 10th anniversary through the month of September by hosting several events.
Pastor David Payaniandi told Springs Advertiser that the church’s objective over the past 10 years has been to establish more than just Sunday worship places but to become the spiritual homes where individuals can meet Jesus Christ, find their purpose and get encouraged.
As part of its celebration, the church has organised several celebration services between September 21 and 23, the Heritage Day Gospel Concert on September 24, the Family Braai Day on September 27, and the Thanksgiving service on September 30.
The pastor shared that the funds raised from the event will be collected in aid of Springs SPCA, Hope Ithemba, and Vita Nova.

Payaniandi explained that their connection with Springs has always been an integral part of their work, as they have aimed at supporting families, youth, senior citizens, vulnerable women and children, and individuals in difficult situations.
“Our mission has been to listen to people, pray with them, encourage them and support them in difficult seasons,” Payaniandi stated.
Over the past ten years, the ministry has offered the platform for children, youth, young adults, women, men, and senior citizens to grow spiritually and make relationships.
The church has also partnered with different organisations in Springs and is taking this anniversary to support the organisations.

Payaniandi said that this is also an occasion to honour the contributions made by its members, leaders, volunteers, ministry workers, and other community partners over the past ten years.
He described this milestone as the celebration of God’s faithfulness over the past ten years.
For the future, Payaniandi stated that their intention is to reach more families, develop new leaders, build their ministries and give more chances to serve their community.
The church has called on Springs residents to celebrate with them for their anniversary even though they are either long-time members of TPM, recent members or have never visited the church before.
The event will take place at 13:00 on September 24 at Turning Point Ministries at 59 Miller Road, Nuffield.
