Striders’ road race
Springs Striders will hold its 32km/15km/4km road race on February 2 at Springs Rugby Club.
The 15km and 32km races start at 6am.
The 4km fun run starts at 6.15am and the tiny tots’ 100m race, at 7am.
Entries will be taken at the Johnsons Crane Road Race taking place in Benoni on Sunday.
Late entries will also be available from Monday to February 1, from 9am to noon at the Springs Rugby Club.
Late comers can also enter on race day from 5am.
The pre-entry fee for the 15km race until Sunday is R50, late entries from Monday will be R60.
The temporary licences cost R15.
Pre-entry for the 32km race until Sunday will be R100 and late entries from Monday will be R120.
The temporary licences for this race will be R25.
The great grand masters, over 70 years of age’s pre-entry is free but late entries will be R20.
The 4km fun run is open for all runners and children and no licence is required.
All finishers of the 4km race will receive medals.
The entry fee is R20.
Tiny tots pre-school children can enter for the 100m race at R5 per entry.
All finishers will receive a prize.
