Pollak Park holds Winter Golf Championships

The golf course was in great condition and proved to be a tough test of golf with the chilly weather on Sunday morning, not making low scoring easy.

The golfers that proved to be the best of their divisions were:

A-Division: 1. Sean Pillan (155 gross), 2. Donovan Grobler (156 gross)

Best 36 hole nett: Gary de Klerk (144 nett)

Best Saturday nett Andre Becker (72 nett) and best Sunday nett Hein Snyman (74 nett).

B-Division: 1. Steve Murphy (166 gross0, 2. Dudley Palmer. (173 gross)

Best 36 hole nett: Darren Langley (149 nett).

Best Saturday nett: Shaun Earle (68 nett) and best Sunday nett: Craig Ellebeck (72 nett).

C-Division: 1. Raymond Murray (186 gross), 2. Eddie Browning (188 gross).

Best 36 hole nett: Frans Seloane (158 nett).

Best Saturday nett: Johan Schaefer (69 nett) and best Sunday nett: Geoff Montgomery (78 nett).

Women: 1. Margret Reid (149 nett), 2. Anika van den Berg (158 nett), 3. Kim de Klerk (160 nett).
