Cheetahs vs Highlanders in finals

The four semi-finalists battling it out for a spot in the final saw the Stormers face off against the Highlanders as the Reds took on the Cheetahs team.

The Highlanders managed to beat the Stormers 90-88 while the Cheetahs beat the Reds 92-90.

The final of the Super 16 golf tournament will see the Cheetahs and the Highlanders vie for the top honours on October 24.

The Betterball Stableford competition also took place over the weekend.

The results were as follows:

• First place – Bennie de Lange and Chris Erasmus with 47 points
• Second place – Piet Erasmus and Hannelize de Klerk with 46 points and
• Third place – Henk Hoffman and Tobie Truter with 46 points.

Nearest the pin on number 12 was Stefan Prinsloo and on number eight was Bennie de Lange.
