Country club hosts golf tournament
A round of the Ercil golf league was played at the Springs Country Club on Saturday.
The Springs Country Club hosted the Ercil golf tournament, on Saturday.
The results are:
Piet Erasmus and Hennie Muller took first place, with 61 points.
With the same score, Leon Lubbe and Kenny Sweeney came in second.
In third place were William Anderson and Thys Fouche with 63 points.

The winning team was the Leeulopers who scored 190 points.
Twenty-four players also participated in the club competition on the same day at the course.
Leon Lubbe and Vonny Sweeny finished in first place with 61 points, while Jose Carravant and Chris Erasmus came in second, with 64 points.

Next week the club will host the semi-finals of the super 16, when the Blue Bulls will face the Cheetahs.
The Warratahs will go up against the Highlanders for the last spot in the finals.
