Jolly Brothers prevail against Beers & Tots

Regional rankings this week Juan van der Merwe of Beers & Tots is leading.

It was an electric weekend of cricket with 12 teams in action.

It was a fruitful weekend for Allan Machakaire of Back Stoppers who bagged in five wickets from his two overs and only conceded one run.

His slow bowling mesmerised the Hulapalu Blazers who were bundled out for 20 runs chasing 152 runs.

Good knock by George Nel as well of Back Stoppers who knocked 93 runs from 47 balls and missed on getting a home run from the last ball to get his century.

Neil Kyter of Jolly Brothers also had a good stint with the ball, getting three wickets from his four overs and only conceding 13 runs.

Juan van der Merwe of Beers & Tots and Wade Dick of Donkey Slongs had a good knock with the bat scoring 55 runs from 26 balls and 50 runs of 29 balls respectively.

On the log standings, Beers & Tots are still leading, sitting on 100 points from their 12 games. On the second position is Donkey Slongs with 96 points from 11 games.

In the third position is Knuck Fows with 66 points from their 11 games.

In the regional rankings this week, Juan van der Merwe of Beers & Tots is leading.

It seems he has picked form scoring 50s almost every game.

On the bowling rankings, Christiaan van Tonder of Spitbraai toppled Martin Greef of Beers & Tots to take the number one slot.

On keeping rankings, Lodie Greef of Beers & Tots remain unshaken and still leading the rankings.
