Young teen breaks long-standing record at Springs Country Club
Greeff won the A-Division title at 14 years old.
Fourteen-year-old Enrico Greeff made history over the weekend when he became the youngest-ever winner of the A-division at the annual Club Championship at the Springs Country Club.
The youngest winners to date have been Rory Brews, Delano Kotze and Deon Kotze who all won the A-division when they were 18 years old.

Club captain Deon Kotze said this record is likely to remain as such for a long time.
Speaking after his win, Greef had a lot of praise for his caddy over the weekend, who is IGT Tour professional Delano Kotze.
“Delano kept me calm at all times and managed my game strategically as we went on and as the other players’ scores were channelled through to us.
“This made a huge difference in my game.
“I am also grateful to my parents for all their sacrifice in transporting me to practise and play golf,” he said.
