Tsepo Tsotetsi has been in constant pain while preparing for his fourth Comrades Marathon.

After he was hit by a car in April, Tsepo Tsotetsi has been in constant pain while preparing for his fourth Comrades Marathon. “Leading up to the race, I managed to run only two marathons and one solo 50km. This was inadequate preparation. At some point I considered not participating, however, encouragement from people made me consider going down to Pietermaritzburg,” he explained.

He admits he battled drowsiness, double vision and excruciating thigh pain while running the gruelling race yet while running the gruelling race yet quitting was
never an option.
“Even though not my best, I still managed to finish the race in 11 hours and 15 minutes,” he said.
