Springs Old Boys (SOB) Premier secured a 118-run victory over Duduza in the Easterns T20 tournament on September 18.

SOB batted first and posted an impressive 211 runs. Neill Joubert led the way with an unbeaten 110.
Keegan Koekemoer supported him, remaining not out on 75.

The pair put together an outstanding 179 run partnership. With a strong batting performance behind them, SOB bowlers delivered an equally impressive performance.

Jonathan Diedericks was the standout bowler, taking three wickets for 22 runs in his four overs, including one maiden.

Duduza struggled to build momentum against a disciplined Springs Old Boys attack and were eventually bowled out for just 93 runs.

SOB completed an 118-run victory, producing an all-round performance. In their second match of the day, SOB secured another victory against Elsburg Eagles.

Elsburg Eagles was bowled out for 98 runs.

SOB bowlers once again produced an impressive performance. Ruan van der Merwe took three wickets for 17 runs in his three overs.

Neill Joubert also made an impact with the ball claiming two wickets for just three runs in 1.3 overs.

Chasing 99 for victory, SOB were led by an excellent unbeaten innings from Tebogo Gaduka who scored 62 runs not out to guide his side over the line.

Springs Old Boys eventually secured a two-wicket victory, making it two wins from two matches on the day.

SOB chairperson Lionel Joubert congratulated the players for their successful performances.
