Springs Tigers U7 L4 have been crowned league winners in the Easterns Local Football Association. The team played 16 games and won 15.

The team’s coach, Shafick Jaffar, shared their journey, saying the start of the season brought a unique set of challenges, with few starting with as many unknowns as his squad.

He added that when the whistle blew for the first practice, many players were new to the club and met their teammates on the field for the first-ever time.

Jaffar explained that the boys faced an initial hurdle of unfamiliarity, yet shared one powerful, unifying goal: a genuine love for playing soccer.

“As the weeks progressed, a remarkable transformation took place. Through targeted training, mutual encouragement and steady motivation the squad blended into a cohesive, formidable unit.

“The progress was visible not just in their growing trust and chemistry but also on the pitch, propelling them through a stellar run that culminated in winning the league title,” said Jaffar.

Jaffar noted that the parents’ unwavering dedication, time and commitment to both the players and the club created a supportive backbone that shone brightly all season long.

He shared that as this historic chapter closes, the group leaves behind more than just a trophy and a season’s worth of game highlights — they leave a powerful reminder of what community, resilience and teamwork can achieve.
