Bolton Villa swept away

It was a victorious day for the U/13 Home Sweepers team who won 3-0 against Bolton Villa on Saturday.

The game was played at the KwaThema Sports Complex as part of the Springs Local Football League seasonal games.

The first goal was scored by Lungile Ndlovu who set the pace for the game with his speed and smart moves.

This forced Bolton Villa to step up their game and keep their eyes on their opponents.

The game became fast-paced and energetic as the boys showed off their many soccer skills.

Without warning, Kgomotso Zulu fired a hot shot that left the Bolton Villa goalkeeper confused and dizzy.

This put Home Sweepers in the lead with two goals to nil.

The first half was nearing its end when Home Sweepers scored their third goal by Lesego Baleni.

The second half saw a more enthusiastic Bolton Villa who tried to keep the ball to themselves.

Although they were three goals behind, they put their main focus on making sure that Home Sweepers were unable to score even one more goal.

With the defence on lock down, Home Sweepers found it hard to get access to the ball.

The tug of war continued right to the end of the game seeing Home Sweepers the winners of the game in a 3-0 victory.
