Bester brothers in Springs
Brothers Lieb and André (on vocals) Bester performed at the Evangelies Gereformeede Kerk on Friday.
Actor Lieb, known for his role in Villa Rosa, is also a talented musician, playing the concertina, accordion and electric piano. Not to mention singing along with André.
André is the principal of the church’s theology school in Pretoria and is known for his vocals skills.
“I am very proud of the new addition to my concertinas. This one was specially made in Italy. It is a personal instrument with my name engraved on it,” says Lieb.
“Growing up in a musical family makes it possible to for us to still enjoy each other’s company and music in general,” says André, who did his doctorate in theology in 2010.
