Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle is the third film in the much adored Jumanji film franchise.
Directed by Jake Kasdan, Jumanji follows the adventure of four high school children who inadvertently get themselves trapped in an old video game called Jumanji.
These four couldn’t be anymore different, and belong to a variety of different ‘cliques’ in their school.
Spencer Gilpin is an intelligent but awkward and neurotic, Anthony ‘Fridge’ Johnson is the football star who used to be close friends with Gilpin.
Morgan Turner is quiet and shy with a cynical intellect and Madison Iseman, a popular but vein student.

Once they are thrown into the world of Jumanji, the avatars they have now become are radically different in physical appearance, causing dismay for many.
Iseman goes from an attractive cheerleader to chubby, short professor named Sheldon Oberon.
Johnson goes from being an imposing, physical giant to a man who is small, weak and diminutive.
Gilpin, however, is overjoyed as he becomes the physically strong and brave adventurer Dr Xander ‘Smolder’ Bravestone.

As these learners embark on a quest to get back to their normal lives, they realise they have more in common with each other, and a romantic bond occurs between Gilpin and Turner.
