2 butcheries in eMalahleni scoop up Cleaver Awards
We have two of the finest butcheries in the country right here in eMalahleni.
Meat & Fish City and Saveways Superspar in eMalahleni have secured top positions in the national Cleaver Awards, placing among the best butcheries in the country.
Meat & Fish City claimed first place in its category, while Saveways Superspar achieved third place.
Customer nominations drive results
The Cleaver Awards recognise butcheries that are ahead of the rest when it comes to quality, hygiene, value for money and service.
What makes the competition unique is that butcheries cannot enter themselves, as candidates are nominated by customers before being assessed by the South African Meat Industry Company.
Organisers state that combining customer recognition with independent technical audits gives winning butcheries significant credibility.
