Big fish, big prizes at Zondagsfontein

The Roepersfontein competition will take place at Zondagsfontein, about 4km from Kinross.
Gates open at 05:30 on March 21 at the cost of R150 per angler, lines will be put in at 06:00 and lines out is at 15:00. Scales close at 15:30, only two rods per angler. There will be no canoes or bait boats allowed for the competition, and only one prize per angler will be awarded. An alternative date of March 28 has been set should there be rain.

Mbali Construction has sponsored the main prizes, being R2 000 for the biggest carp, R1 000 for the biggest Babar, R1 000 for the second largest carp and R500 for the third largest carp.
There will be prizes up for grabs for juniors, and juniors under 12 fish for free. Not to mention a number of lucky draws so hold onto your ticket numbers.
