Yes to Christianity in schools
There is a case prepared for seating in the Johannesburg High Court against six public schools (four in Gauteng and two in the Western Cape) on whether or not Christian activities will continue in these schools. The case can potentially have severe ramifications for freedom of religion and the gospel in South Africa.
“Should the atheist group be silenced, the effect is that learners and teachers will be silenced from speaking or teaching about God in a school context. They will not be allowed to pray individually or in a group,” said Petunia Moloi.
The march is taking place on March 7 from 14:00 to 17:30 and it starts in the parking area at Emalahleni FM.
It will take the marchers to Nkonjane where the route will be outlined. A Verse will be read and a prayer be done. At Gull Stream another prayer will follow some reading from the Bible. At Ackerville Stream a vote of thanks and a prayer will end the march.
Learners, teachers, business owners, church members and the community are asked to be part of this great initiative.
