AMCU March in Nicol Street

Insofar as the members contend that there are monies due to them by Glencore and that these monies have been paid to AMCU

Former employees of Glencore and AMCU members who were dismissed in 2013 for reasons related to their participation in various unprotected strikes, again protested outside AMCU’s Nkangala Regional Offices.

The protest took place on Thursday, April 8 when they marched from King George’s Park to the AMCU’s offices in Nicol Street.

The former employees of Glencore have demanded to see president Joseph Mathunjwa and again demanded that ‘their money’, which they believe to be due to them from Glencore be paid into their bank accounts and not to AMCU.
