Inyathi instructor shines

This is an incredible achievement as very few wrestling coaches hold this prestigious qualification.

Juandre Fivaz, chief coach at Inyathi Wrestling Club, recently completed his Level 1 Coaching Course with the internationally-recognised United World Wrestling.

This is an incredible achievement as very few wrestling coaches hold this prestigious qualification.

Juandre participated in two international courses in Pretoria, where only 20 coaches in South Africa were invited to participate during the first week of December of 2018.

Juandre attended both and successfully completed and passed the courses.

The first two days were presented by Olympic medallist, Ivan Ivanov.

The second course was presented by United World Wrestling Instructors and stretched over four days.

Coaches made written, as well as technical, presentations on the last day of the course as part of their exams.

Juandre was also chosen as coach for the ISF World Combat Games 2019, which takes place in Budapest, Hungary.
