Fighters fight the fight

The local team of seven fighters did very well and brought home one gold, two silver and one combined bronze medal

Our local fighters from Decota MMA had an outstanding performance at the Gauteng Grappling League (GGL).

This took place on Saturday, June 1.

The local team of seven fighters did very well and brought home one gold, two silver and one combined bronze medal.

The club overall took a whopping second place. Professional MMA fighter and head coach, Fanie ‘The Viper’ Prinsloo said: It was a tough day at the office for us, we were thrown some curve balls but at the end all of our fighters faced every obstacle with class and professionalism. I’m very proud of our fighting team, every single fighter fought their hearts out. Alex Pienaar, Yoane de Jager, Vernon and Zane Nagel competed in their first light contact MMA fights.”

They will be competing in some boxing events and on July 20 Johannes ‘Warrior’ Rudolph will be fighting for the RAW Bantam Weight Championship Belt.
