Kidnapped businessman home safe

Three weeks after Juca Leonardo’s vehicle was found with bullet holes in the windscreen, it has now been confirmed that he has been found.

Businessman Juca Leonardo (55), who was kidnapped in Bronkhorstpruit on April 13, has been found and is home safe.

Details surrounding his return home are scarce at this point. Leonard was wearing dark blue denims and a blue polo shirt when he was last seen.

His Mercedes Benz G Wagon was found at Vesterark (R568) with bullet holes in the windscreen.

“This kidnapping was well-oiled as the suspects were possibly heavily armed,” said private investigator Mike Bolhuis at the time of Leonardo’s kidnapping.

“We were called, with security and friends who assisted in trying to locate Juca.

“His vehicle was seemingly found in a different spot from his abduction.”

Bolhuis had seven special investigators working on the case.
