Vosman police confiscate dagga and liquor

Vosman police, in their effort to curb crime, were all out before the festive season and after.

They held operations and patrols in most of their policing areas.

In their crime control they arrested a 57 year-old woman, after she was found dealing in dagga and selling liquor without a licence.

Following up on information received, the police on December 18 at about 14:00, went to a house in Vosman. The information they had, was that dagga was being sold at that particular house. On arrival at the house and after introducing themselves, they went ahead and searched the house, they found loose dagga in three refuse bags,  in one of the bedrooms Further on in their search they also found liquor worth about R4 000 and they found that the woman does not have a licence to trade in liquor. The woman was then arrested and charged for dealing in dagga and selling liquor without a licence.
