The police were called out to the report of theft on Friday morning where the victim’s vehicle was standing on bricks in his carport.
The thieves also stole all of the cottage’s garden chairs. The victim, who wishes not to be named told police that this was only the most recent incident in a series of burglaries, that had taken place, as he rents one of several cottages on the plot and has lived there for about one year.
Surprisingly he did not wake up, as they were stealing the wheels off his car and he only discovered the theft on Friday, January 31. His superbike was also stolen several months before, from the same carport.
The robbers even used bricks from his neighbour’s yard that was used to border a flowerbed. The neighbours did not wake up either.
A theft from Motor Vehicle case was opened at the Witbank SAPS.
