Bankies take to the fields for big walk

The annual Big Walk at Curro Bankenveld was once again a huge success.

On March 1, two routes were proposed and participants either went through Bankenveld Estate or the nature reserve set behind the school.

The walkers in the reserve were in for a treat. Zebra, Springbok, Blesbuck and Blue Wildebeest were spotted. The shorter route through the estate delivered excellent views over the golf course and Witbank dam.

Back from the walk the participants could indulge in lots of delicious food and loads of entertainment, courtesy of the school, this included a giant slide and a parachute rocket.

After a full morning you could only stand back, wipe your brow and say, wow,  it happened here at Curro Bankenveld.
