Clothing shop robbed of cell phones and cash

Once again another clothing shop was robbed as the employees and customers were held up at gunpoint.

The incident occurred on Sunday, March 16 at 13:00 just before the shop was closing its doors for the day in the Witbank Central Business District (CBD).

Ms Maggie Motau was in the shop with five other colleagues; they were busy finishing up for the day.
Then two men walked into the shop and it looked like they were going to do some shopping.

While the men were walking around in the shop, one of the men pulled out a gun and told everyone to go into the storeroom.
It’s alleged that once everyone was in the storeroom, the men then asked Motau to open the safe. She then replied that she did not have the safe keys.

Once the men knew that they were not going to get the safe keys, they then took everyone’s cell phones and cash from the tills, and then left the shop without hurting anyone.
