Ms Susanna Horn handed in her vehicle on Tuesday, April 15 so that the brakes could be replaced and she also asked them to check the boot as there was a strange rattle.
Later on that day she phoned and was told that her vehicle would have to stay in overnight.
The following day when Horn phoned the dealership at 16:04 to see how far her car was, she was told at that a Mr Peter took her car.
By the time Horn arrived at the dealership her vehicle was gone, so she asked how could the car be given to someone else.
“I was then told someone else phoned and said that they were Mr Horn and Ms Horn and said Peter should take the car,” said Horn.
Peter even paid the R270.18 for the boot to be repaired.
Horn immediately contacted Netstar and the vehicle was tracked in Nelspruit.
On Tuesday, April 22 Horn had a meeting with the dealership about the incident.
“Well whoever Mr Peter is, he got a massive bargain by buying a R1.3 million car for R270.18,” said Horn.
It’s alleged that there is a huge syndicate with a similar modus operandi and all dealerships are warned about this.
