The women were walking on the footbridge near Old Coronation when an unknown man appeared in front of them. As they were deciding to turn back, they noticed that there were two more men who were coming on the bridge behind them. The incident happened on April 26 at about 15:45.
The women realized that they were trapped on the bridge.
The women said that the suspects cornered them.
“They searched us for our belongings and took what they found,” said one of the women. Afterwards the suspects raped each one before leaving them along the bridge.
The suspects are unknown to the victims and no arrest has been made as yet.
Another victim was caught unaware as she was making her way home through the road between bushes on her way to Landau, when an unknown man came up to her and demanded that she give him what she had.
After stealing from the woman the suspect allegedly raped her and fled from the bushes leaving her with no phone and no money. Suspect is unknown.
