On May 2 the driver of a white Mazda allegedly parked his vehicle near a shop in Klipfontein. He left the vehicle securely locked in the morning at about 07:30 but when he returned in the afternoon it was missing. The registration number is PXC 088 GP.
Another incident occurred on the same day at about 10:00 when a vehicle was stolen from the yard of a resident in Die Heuwel. According to the owner, the car had an immobiliser and a gear lock yet they still managed to break the lock of the gate and push the car out into the street where they managed to somehow escape with it.
