Kayla wins Miss Mini Teen South Africa

More than 204 finalists attended the Miss Junior South Africa pageant in Pretoria, where two local beauties did exceptionally well.

The event took place from May 1 to May 4 at the ACCP Hall in Pretoria. The finalists from all nine provinces of South Africa flocked to Pretoria and hoped to walk away with the title of Miss Junior South Africa and the Face of South Africa. The 2014 finalists were judged on different aspects like interviews, ramp judging, evening wear and theme wear such as Gatsby.

The two local finalists were Kayla Jorge who is 11 years old from Ga-Nala and Tenae Marriot who is 15 years old from eMalahleni. They both did exceptionally well in their respective age divisions.

Kayla Jorge scooped the title of Miss Mini Teen South Africa 2014 from 30 of South Africa’s most beautiful girls in this age category.
Tenae placed third in the Face of South Africa in the Miss Junior Teen South Africa 2014 Category out of 42 finalists. Kayla is already hard at work in the community with her title as Miss Mini Teen South Africa.

“I am very proud of Kayla and Tenae who represented Mpumalanga to the best they could possibly have done. The girls coped well under pressure and had loads of fun. Congratulations Kayla on this big win,” said Andries du Preez.
