Recovered the next day

“I received a call from my brother-in-law saying that my bike had been found,” said Mr Freddy Smith.

Smith’s red and black Kawasaki motorcycle was stolen from his yard on Thursday, May 22.

Smith had walked to his gate when he realised that the motor gate wouldn’t open, the gate had been lifted off its railing. “I woke up at 06:30 that morning and saw my bike was gone, I immediately went to the police and opened up a case,” said Smith.

The following day at about 13:00 Smith received a call from his brother-in-law; security guards stationed roughly three kilometres down the road had found his motorcycle in an open field.

The bike was slightly damaged, but the good news is it was returned to its rightful owner.

Smith extends his thanks to the security guards who found his motorcycle.
