Cases flow in Witbank Magistrate’s Court

Witbank Magistrate’s Court was busy once again dealing with all types of crimes where people were sentenced.

On Monday, July 7 Lloyd Matanyone appeared in C Court for theft. He was arrested in May last year.

He was found guilty for theft and was sentenced to R2000 fine or four months’ imprisonment which is suspended for three years.
On the same day in Court C Stephan Sithole appeared for possession of drugs. He was arrested in Vosman last year August.

Stephan was found guilty and received a R3000 fine or six months imprisonment which is suspended for a period of three years.
In Court E Tshepo Mashiya appeared for theft he was arrested in eMalahleni in February this year.

He was found guilty and received a R3000 fine or eight months imprisonment wholly suspended for five years on condition he is not convicted of theft again.

Given Nohabaleng was up next on the stand in Court E. He was arrested in March 2010 in Vosman for possession and use of drugs.

He was sentenced to R1500 fine or six months imprisonment wholly suspended for a period of five years.
