A must see for any resident of eMalahleni. How many of you have gone to see the Witbank Dam when the sluice gates are open? If your answer is no then this is the perfect opportunity to fix that problem. Emalahleni Local Municipality opened a sluice gate this morning at 9:00 at Witbank Dam.
Ben Botes told Witbank News that the dam has reached 84.9% of the dam’s capacity and to fulfil their quota they have to release a minimum of 5%.
Administrator Theo van Vuuren commented that residents will be allowed to view the sluice gate and they may enter for free between 16:00 and 18:00 until Monday, November 24.
