
Ms P. Mkhonto (25) reported that she was kidnapped on Wednesday, December 24 a day before Christmas at about 17:30 while she was walking in one of the streets in Johannesburg.
She said she was approached by an unknown man.
While they were walking together, he later forced her into a car, covered her with a cloth and damp cloth was also put in her mouth. She was unconscious and woke up later in room with a toilet and bed.
A woman brought her food and when she inquired where she was, she was told that she was on a farm.
She was told not to ask too many questions as she might put her life and that of the other woman in danger and might also lose her job.
She was told to take a bath and after that she was covered with a cloth again, became unconscious again and woke up in a car.
According to the police, the driver of the car told her to get out of the car. She saw a traffic sing signalling that she was in Standerton, she got a lift to eMalahleni and then reported the matter to the police.
She was released on Thursday, February 12 at about 14:00.
No one has been arrested and police are investigating a case of kidnapping.
