The police reported that the 35-year-old woman has been arrested after she disobeyed orders from the police.
Police were tying to arrest the driver of a vehicle who seemed drunk but she tried to drive away.
The incident happened at the Vosman Police Station on Sunday, May 3 at about 23:30.
The police then blocked her way with the state vehicle but she went to another gate and an officer blocked her again.
She threatened that she was going to crash into the state vehicle; two officers went to speak to her to try to reason with her and begged her not to do that.
She then allegedly drove straight into the vehicle hitting it in the rear tyre, reversed and again drove into the state vehicle hitting it in the right door. The estimated damage to the vehicle is about R30 000.
She was then arrested and charged with malicious damage to property, she appeared in court and the outcome of her appearance is unknown.
