Watch three dogs saved from certain death
Three dogs were saved from certain death when the SPCA, fire department and municipal employees rescued them.
On June 2 municipal employees arrived at the reservoir situated on OR Tambo and Steenkamp streets, they were carrying out maintenance on the pumps at the quarry when they noticed three dogs in the quarry.
The dogs seemed to be trapped with no means of getting out of the quarry.
Witbank SPCA and the Emalahleni Fire Department were called to come and assist with the rescue effort.
One of the dogs was caught shortly after the SPCA’s arrival, some time passed before the other two animals were brought to safety by the continued efforts of the SPCA, fire department, and municipal employees.
