Early on Wednesday, June 3 a tractor collided with a Quantum bus. According to Const JM Marobane, the tractor was en route to Ogies from Witbank and the Quantum was coming from Ogies. The passengers in the Quantum were school children on their way to school.
The Quantum turned onto the Bethal road and that was when the collision occurred.
The tractor was allegedly almost at the T-Junction when the Quantum turned in front of it, and the tractor hit the school bus on the side.
Four school children sustained minor injuries and one injury was serious. The children were taken to Cosmos Hospital with Langamed Emergency Services and ER24.
