25-year-old missing, mother in Ga-Nala concerned

After losing a child in 2013, Ms Christine Haskins is going through the same pain, as her son has been missing for two weeks now.

Mr Steven Roux (25) was last seen on Thursday, June 4 when he climbed on a bus in Hazyview from a rehab centre.
He stopped in Springs and climbed off the bus there, but according to his sister, Ms Michelle Bekker, who has not stopped looking for her brother, the bus does not stop in Springs.

Roux either lives with his sister or with his mother who lives in Ga-Nala.
Haskins last spoke to her son that morning when he climbed on the bus in Hazyview and since then she has not heard a word.
Bekker spoke to her brother approximately three weeks ago when he was in rehab.
The clothes that he was wearing on the day of his disappearance are a blue cap, white shirt and blue jeans.
Roux has an average built, brown eyes, light brown hair and he also has a tattoo of a cross on his left arm and on the right shoulder blade.

The Pink Ladies Organization for missing children made up a flyer on June 10 after a missing person case was opened at Kriel Police Station.
“We have no new information on my brother’s whereabouts and we are just waiting to hear from the police,” said Bekker.
“We are really not sure where he is as it’s unlike him to just disappear like this and we have heard about many roamers where he was last seen.”

On Facebook Bekker has been expressing her anger and her frustration as she can’t find her brother and it is tormenting her.
Just one of the many messages on Facebook; “So angry, frustrated and disappointed I wish I could do more, but at this stage I can’t, I have to wait, wait, and wait! I am going out of my mind of worries. You are all I am thinking about. I can’t function. .. I’m on the damn phone 24/7. If something has happened to you I am going to go ballistic!”
