Nine days to fix hole Panorama Street

Residents in Panorama Street are not happy with the state of the road as the Emalahleni City Council takes nine days to fill a hole.

On Sunday, June 28 council employees eventually arrived to close up a hole that was dug at 62 Panorama Street, nine days after a hole was dug to repair a burst water pipe.
On Saturday, June 20 the problem was reported and the pipe was fixed the same day, except for one thing a hole was left open.

The paving was lifted up and the street light was knocked over.
When they returned to fix the hole, the street light nor the wires.
were never fixed. Live electrical wires are still sticking out of the ground where the street light was standing.
Many other homes in the same street have been affected and they are number 2, 22, 9, 3 and 31.

This piece of the pavement in front of 31 Panorama Street has been left like this for over two months after the a burst water pipe was fixed.
