A resident in Tasbet Park does not know what to do or where to go anymore as sewerage has started running into his house.
Sewerage has been pushing out of a manhole and the drains for weeks on end.
“I am not sure what to do anymore as we can’t even cook dinner as the smell is so bad,” said the house owner.
The home owner has complained numerous times to the Emalahleni City Council about the over flowing sewerage problem.
“Up to date nothing has been done about the problem even though it has been reported. People can’t live like this as it’s so unhygienic,” continued the home owner.
The sewerage problem at a household in Tasbet Park and the sewerage has even started running into the house.
There has been various other sewerage problems reported to the city council and on Monday, April 4 employees started fixing a sewerage network in the following areas; Mokoena Street in Thushanang, Kwa- Guqa Ext 5, 10 and 11, Harare Street in Vosman, Makgatho Street in Lynnville, Tasbet Park Ext 12 and Brettenwood Garden Estate in Reyno Ridge.
Work that still needs to be done is in Anoldus Panevis Street in Duvha Park and Susan Street in Model Park.
