The hole has finally been filled

For over two weeks a crater was left uncovered in Tasbet Park after workers fixed a broken water pipe

For over two weeks a crater was left uncovered in Tasbet Park after workers fixed a broken water pipe. The hole caused a mountain of problems for the community as it blocked off the road completely.

On Saturday July 30 it was finally covered. The communications manager at the municipality Mr Lebo Mofokeng also delivered a comment on the issue,

“They are aware of the situation and are planning to deal with all areas affected no later than Friday this week. The reason we were unable to remove that trash is that we did not have enough transport. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.”

Although not the tidiest cleanup in the world but the hole has been filled in Tasbet Park.

Hopefully this was the last time that the residents of the area would have to worry about falling down the rabbit hole.
