Witbank Police in cooperation with the Community Policing Forum (CPF) members made a total of 64 arrests over the past week.
Operations held from Monday, October 18 to 24 resulted in a number of arrests including that of six for shoplifting, seven for driving under the influence, and 11 for general theft.
Additional arrests include six for assault, eight for malicious damage to property, five for fraud, two for the violation of a protection order, eight for the possession of stolen property and one for attempted murder.
A single arrest was made for trespassing, three for intimidation, one for business robbery, two for the possession of an unlicensed firearm and three for illegal immigration.
