Get your blessing delivered to help the project

One woman in eMalahleni started a wonderful project last year and since then it has grown in leaps and bounds.
Charmaine Snyman started the ‘Blessings in a bottle’ project where only blessings were given to Immergroen Old Age Home and Eden Park.

Now this year the blessings will be stretched to Immergroen, Eden Park, Moth Cottages and Huis Betsie Louw.

‘Blessings in a bottle’ project has grown and there are only a few more blessings needed.

“At this stage I still only need 20 Granny and 1 Oupa blessings in a bottle then I have one for everyone,” said Charmaine.

When you walk into Charmaine’s house there is just bottles and bottles of blessings all over the show, in fact at the end of the project she will have a total of 457 blessings all together.

“You know there is nothing better than seeing their faces light up once they receive a gift,” said Charmaine.

All you need to do to make up a blessing is to get a glass bottle, fill it with a face cloth, soap or anything else and add in a sweet or two. Decorate your bottle then there you have it, a blessing in a bottle.
